One of the many things I love about Melbourne is the fact that there are so many places to explore in the surrounding area. Top on my list after the great ocean road (coming soon!) was a chance to do some wine tasting in the Yarra Valley.
The Yarra Valley is a renowned wine region only about an hour’s drive away from Melbourne, which makes it a perfect day trip getaway. Not just for the wine drinkers, it’s home to a number of farms, lunch spots, beautiful grounds, nature trails and spectacular scenery.… Read more
I’ve been nominated for a Liebster Award! An award by bloggers for bloggers. It’s passed around the blogging community with the aim of getting to know each other better and discovering new blogs.
A huge thanks to Kat from Kat Is Travelling for nominating me. A fellow English blogger also currently down under, Kat’s been exploring the east coast and now Melbourne where she’s currently working. As part of the Liebster Award I’ve been given 11 questions to answer before I can pay it forward and choose some, so lets get started.… Read more

Luckily, my parents were coming out to visit before we headed back to Hoi An so I excitedly got planning a 3 day itinerary for when they were here.… Read more
The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk had been high on my list of things to do in Sydney and until last weekend I couldn’t believe I still hadn’t got round to it. During my usual search for weekend activities, I came across Sculpture By The Sea, a free public exhibition that runs along the coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama beach, before you reach Coogee. The forecast was promising warm and sunny spells so our Sunday plans were sorted.… Read more
